Holiday Grilled Cheese
Pancetta, Brie, and a hint of Gruyere cheese with fig jam sandwiched between rustic bread and grilled. Served with chips.
Shrimp and Asparagus Puff
Four large shrimp and fresh roasted asparagus are encased in open-faced puff pastry. It is served with a Mandarin salad.
Crispy Filo dough is rolled around a delicious filling filled with ricotta and cheddar cheeses, and an array of seasonal vegetables. It is baked until golden and served with a Cranberry Apple Salad.
A small cup of soup may be added to any entrée for $3.50

A former gardener for Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom, Tina Scott has helped preserve the beautiful landscape of our countryside while also serving as a cook in the Tearoom kitchen since it opened in 2005. Tina's motto is to ``make fresh and what you have on hand.`` This belief is translated into the deliciously fresh meals that she prepares. Tina enjoys the process of creating a variety or home-cooked meals from scratch with desserts being her specialty. When visiting our Tearoom, enjoy a slice of her heavenly Pumpkin Pecan Pie.
Ruth Cusack learned from an early age the pleasure of serving simply prepared food that is cooked from fresh and natural ingredients. She brings her cooking intuition to our Tearoom kitchen, as well as our Blog, as she is one of our cooks since 2008. Ruth acknowledges her Nonni and Auntie Lana as the inspirational people whom she has learned the important value of patience in the kitchen from in order to create delicious meals. Cooking from the heart, Ruth has shared many of her recipes for the first time in our Emerson Creek Cookbook, and considers it a privilege to see it become a reality.
Terri Stunkel's first brush with the joy of cooking originated at the age of twelve when she was growing up with six other siblings. Although she enjoyed convenience based cuisine in her own childhood household, it was years later when her own son was diagnosed with diabetes which propelled her into creating healthy meals from scratch. As one of our cooks, she enjoys serving healthy comfort food to our customers in the beautiful surroundings of the Tearoom.

Emerson Creek is a uniquely heirloom variety, and so it is the intent of its’ owners to provide an opportunity to return to tradition, and share this beautiful segment of countryside with others. It is a welcoming place to share experiences- it took 10 years, in the life of our Tearoom, to be able to share these recipes.
