All of the pottery is formed, fired, and painted in Bedford, Virginia, the original source of inspiration for the shop and tearoom you see today. The family owned company began in 1977 and has been crafting pottery ever since. Using Japanese style Sumi-e painting techniques, each piece is hand painted from memory by individual artists. No templates or stencils are used in the process creating true, one-of-a-kind works of art. There is an Emerson Creek pottery piece for almost every use in the home: dinnerware, coffee and tea mugs, bakeware, serving dishes, bathroom accessories, and more!
Come on in and check out our full line of Brie bakers. The ideal pottery bakeware for baking casseroles, or desserts. 15 patterns are currently available, all of which are lead free, ovenproof, and dishwasher and microwave safe.
