Pottery Lines

All of our beautiful pottery is created and painted in Bedford, Virginia and is the original source of inspiration for the Pottery Shop and Tearoom that you enjoy today. This family owned company began in 1977 and has been producing functional pottery pieces ever since. Each piece is an authentic original as there is not a template or stencil used in the process. There is an Emerson Creek pottery piece for almost every use in your home!

In our Pottery Shop you will find dinnerware, coffee and tea mugs, bakeware, serving dishes, bathroom accessories, and more! There are 14 patterns currently available.  All the pottery is lead free, and can be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Come on in and check out our full line of Brie bakers. This is the ideal pottery bakeware for baking casseroles or desserts.

Our hand painted blueberry ceramic pottery is the next best thing to blueberry picking in Maine.

The lush grey green of the lavender plant with its rounded leaves is a natural for this line of beautiful ceramics.

Red Poppy

Springtime blooms year round with our cheerful line of ceramic poppy pottery.

Inspired by the towering majestic pines of Colorado, our handpainted pinecone ceramics bring the rustic beauty of the woods indoors!

Go Green

Go Green Ceramic Earthware is as safe for daily use,  as it is classic kitchenware for serving up simple goodness.

Our hand painted cranberry ceramic pattern is reminiscent of festive suppers and morning mists over the crimson cranberry bogs of New England.

Field of Iris

One of Emerson Creek’s very first patterns, it challenges the brush into a series of 6 strokes which stylizes and showcases the flower.

American Blue

From the deep, rich blue tones to the glossy glaze, this line of handcrafted ceramic pottery is a real American treasure to admire and to put to work in your own home.

Copper Clay

Our warmest earth tone line has spicy undertones which glow with a coppery brightness.

Tuscan Olive

When you want the very best for your home, take a cue from the simplicity of Tuscany!

Delightful for any home that has a design motif featuring these charming little insects.

American Flag

A wonderful way to display patriotic pride, while celebrating with family and friends.

A reminder of how delightful life is, while serving with a bowl patterned with cherries!

May you be touched by a bit of Irish luck, with the help of an overflowing Shamrock cup!

Emerson Creek Cookbook

Emerson Creek is a uniquely heirloom variety, and so it is the intent of its’ owners to provide an opportunity to return to tradition, and share this beautiful segment of countryside with others. It is a welcoming place to share experiences- it took 10 years, in the life of our Tearoom, to be able to share these recipes. It is with gratitude to extend our beautiful grounds, and now some of our wholesome, delectable recipes with you in our Emerson Creek Cookbook.
